Reviews part one

The first reviews for Cats are out.

Andy Oliver over at SmallPressGanged on Broken Frontiers gave it a good write up.
Cox’s art blends cartoony capers with a very real sense of the morbid and the eerie…The Graveyard  Cats is an engaging blend of clowning nonsense and portentous weirdness that’s well worth the requisite investment of your time!

He also covers the excellent Lizz Lunney, who I’ve only just discovered but will be purchasing forthwith.

Over on Forbidden Planet Blog Richard was less impressed!
The Graveyard Cats is a frustrating comic, not because it isn’t any good, but because it’s teetering on the brink of greatness, shows flashes of brilliance, moments of wonder and fantastic fun, and I just wanted it to take the next step.

Though to be fair ‘teetering on the brink of greatness‘ is going on my gravestone.

Thanks to Andy and Richard for their time and helping spread the word, not just on my humble efforts but the whole groovy small press world.
